The On-Line Pandemic Influenza Planning and Preparedness Course for Community Colleges is intended to provide community college personnel the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively plan, prepare for, respond to, and maintain operations during outbreaks of pandemic influenza. The course is comprised of six audio lessons which present critical information for understanding the threat pandemic influenza poses to community college operations. Lessons present the effects, treatments, and methods of prevention against influenza, and the National Strategy for Pandemic Influenza. The course will provide the tools necessary for developing a comprehensive District/campus pandemic influenza plan. This course is valuable for emergency response team personnel, as well as community college administrators, faculty, staff, and students. This course is excellent for mitigating and preventing an outbreak within your District.
